This evening explores anthropological and historical background, concept of spirit world, spirit helpers, shamanic understanding of power, health and illness; shamanic journeying and how we can today work with this ancient spiritual life way to promote health, healing, wellbeing and connection.

This talk explores the multiple and complex connections between Shamanism, Creativity and Art, and how this ancient spiritual practice can support us to dive deeply

into our creativity and strengthen us on our path of

self expression, creativity and self-development now.

‘Journey into the Wild Centre of Creativity

and the Way of the Butterfly-

Introduction to Creativity Coaching’;

This talk draws from the mysterious development of the butterfly and looks at seven steps to help connect or re-connect deeply with our creative source and creativity’s importance for making meaning.

I give talks on various subjects:

‘Introduction to Core Shamanism’ - explores anthropological and historical background, concept of spirit world, spirit helpers, shamanic understanding of power, health and illness; shamanic journeying and how we can today work with this ancient spiritual life way.( for different contexts such as Health centres, general public or as continuous professional development for Health Professionals and Arts Therapists)

‘ Riding the Dragon- Shamanism, Creativity and Art’ -

explores the multiple and complex connections between Shamanism, Creativity and Art, and how this ancient spiritual practice can support us to dive deeply into our creativity and strengthen us on our creative path, self expression and development now.

‘ Journey into the Wild Centre of Creativity- and the Way of the Butterfly- Introduction to Creativity Coaching’; looks at 7 steps to help connect or re-connect deeply with our creative source and creativity’s importance for meaning making.

‘The other Face and the Mask of Power-  Introduction to Mask work for Health professionals’ - explores the power of Mask-work in Counselling, Therapy and Self-Development to work directly and creatively with issues of identity and authenticity;

‘Introduction to Art Therapy’; - This includes an experiential element as well as a talk. This can be tailored to individual institution/ centre’s needs and can include specific themes such as : Art Therapy in mental health; Art Therapy groups; Art Therapy with children etc.

All talks can be booked individually and are flexible in regards to length and format. Most have a practical / experiential element and/or a power-point presentation and can be extended into a half or full day experiential workshop. Minimum duration is 1.5 hours.
