This Retreat offers a safe and exciting space to dive fully into the centre of our creativity to celebrate your unique expressions through the ancient practice of the shamanic journey, ritual, mask, creative media, dance and working with and in nature.

Tapping into the energy of this special time of Samhain/ Halloween/ All Souls when the ‘veil between the world is thinnest’, the end of summer and beginning of the Celtic New Year, this retreat will support you to:

· strengthen the connection to your creative power;

· sensitively work with possible obstacles and hesitations we might encounter;

· explore tools to ground creativity in our lives and establish daily practice;

· make space to honour, celebrate and affirm your unique creative talents and expressions within a circle of women.

Being led by the shamanic journey we will ground the teachings in working with creative media such as clay, mask-work, dance, painting, writing and Ritual. We will also work closely with the beautiful environment in and around Tilton house. We will go on a ‘walk with intention’ and, weather permitting, will create a fire ritual of release and affirmation.

Practicalities:

We start Friday at 5pm  (arrival from 4pm) and end Sunday at 4pm

You do not need any artistic skills or experience in any creative media only an openness to explore your own creative potential. There will

be an introduction to shamanic work and shamanic journeying in the beginning of the retreat, however some previous experience in shamanic

work is helpful, as this workshop it is not primarily an in-depth introduction to Shamanism and shamanic practice. I am happy to offer an introduction to shamanic journeying with a concessionary rate before the retreat.

Venue:

Tilton House is a beautiful, inspiring place nestled underneath the South Downs with a long, creative history, close to Charleston

Farmhouse and is only 20 minutes from Brighton. The nearest train station is Berwick, which is on the Eastbourne line from London

Cost:

£320 all inclusive of accommodation in twin rooms (double £50 supplement), delicious vegetarian food, workshop and all materials;

Early bird price until 10th of September 2010 £300

If two are booking together at the same time £285 each.

Deposit of £200 will secure your place. If for some reason you have paid your deposit and you are unable to make it, the following

applies: a full refund will be returned if notice is given one month prior to start of the retreat; Half deposit will be returned 2 weeks prior to start of the retreat; Any later than this and no deposit will be returned unless you can fill your space with another person. Full amount due one month before.

‘MASK OF POWER’- a SHAMANIC CREATIVITY RETREAT

for women at Chymorgen, Cornwall

from 15-18th of April 2011

This retreat offers a safe and exciting space to dive fully into the centre of your

creativity to celebrate your unique expressions through the ancient practice of the shamanic journey, mask- work, ritual ,voice and song, creative media such as collage, writing, clay and especially working closely with and in nature such as at local stone circles and the coast.

The ‘MASK OF POWER’ Creativity retreat will particularly focus on mask-work as a way to strengthen us in our creative expression and personal power and to connect deeply with our creativity and our spirit helpers.

We will be working with the special energy of spring and of this magical place

to support you to

•strengthen the connection to our creative power;

•sensitively work with possible obstacles and hesitations we might encounter;

•explore tools to ground creativity in our lives and establish daily practice;

•make space to honour, celebrate and affirm our unique creative talents and expressions within a circle of women.

On this retreat shamanic journeys  will be at the core of our exploration and will guide us in this process. The journeys may include a journey to the ‘spirit of creativity’ to enquire how we can connect more deeply with our creative dreams and ambitions; how to deal with possible obstacles and a journey to find a daily ritual to honour our creativity and to create our ‘mask of power’.

We will go on a ‘walk with intention’  and there will be space and free time to enjoy the beautiful environment in and around Chymorgen which is only ten minutes from the gorgeous coastal path with stunning views and many ancient stone circles nearby.

Delicious, locally sourced vegetarian food and accommodation n beautiful twin rooms.
