an Introduction to Core- Shamanism'

This evening explores anthropological and historical background, concept of spirit world, spirit helpers, shamanic understanding of power, health and illness; shamanic journeying and how we can today work with this ancient spiritual life way to promote health, healing, wellbeing and connection.

This talk explores the multiple and complex connections between Shamanism, Creativity and Art, and how this ancient spiritual practice can support us to dive deeply

into our creativity and strengthen us on our path of

self expression, creativity and self-development now.

‘Journey into the Wild Centre of Creativity

and the Way of the Butterfly-

Introduction to Creativity Coaching’;

This talk draws from the mysterious development of the butterfly and looks at seven steps to help connect or re-connect deeply with our creative source and creativity’s importance for making meaning.





       This Retreat offers a safe and exciting space to dive fully into the centre of

       our creativity to celebrate your unique expressions through the ancient

       practice of the shamanic journey, ritual, mask, creative media, dance and

       working with and in nature.


    Tapping into the energy of this special time of

    Samhain/ Halloween/ All Souls

    when the ‘veil between the world is thinnest’,

    the end of summer and beginning of the Celtic New Year,

    this retreat will support you to:


·     strengthen the connection to your creative power;

·     sensitively work with possible obstacles and hesitations we might encounter;

·     explore tools to ground creativity in our lives and establish daily practice;

·     make space to honour, celebrate and affirm your unique creative talents and    

      expressions within a circle of women.


    Being led by the shamanic journey we will ground the teachings in working

    with creative media such as clay, mask-work,

    dance, painting, writing and Ritual. We will also work closely with the beautiful

    environment in and around Tilton house. We

    will go on a ‘walk with intention’ and, weather permitting, will create a fire ritual of

    release and affirmation.


Practicalities:

We start Friday at 5pm and end Sunday at 4pm.

You do not need any artistic skills or experience in any creative media only an openness to explore your own creative potential. There will be an introduction to shamanic work and shamanic journeying in the beginning of the retreat, however some previous experience in shamanic work is helpful, as this workshop it is not primarily an in-depth introduction to Shamanism and shamanic practice.

Venue:

Tilton House is a beautiful, inspiring place nestled underneath the South Downs with a long, creative history, close to CharlestonFarmhouse and is only 20 minutes from Brighton. Dear Creative Folks!

I hope you are enjoying the summer, taking some time out to relax, charge those important batteries and letting your soul dangle!


I have just returned from a most inspirational and powerful course at Lendrick Lodge in Scotland with Peggy Dylan from Sundoor - School of Transpersonal Education,

and I am happy to announce that I am now a certified

Firewalk Instructor and Empowerment Coach!

And just in case you’re wondering...

both feet are all lovely and happy!


It was so amazing to face up and break though fears

in such a visceral, real way...

Walking on coals was truly transformative and empowering!

I had a hunch that I would love it but I wasn’t quite prepared for the ecstatic dance it took me and others into!


The gift of the glass walk was a different one: truly arriving in the Here and Now! Suddenly it made complete sense that  Happiness is indeed NOW- and only now!

My brain might have had known this for some time but to know it in my body was quite a revelation.

Hmm, daily glass-walking as spiritual practice? Very tempting...I am already collecting bottles for my first glass bed! (for a pic of the bliss of glass-walking please scroll down...)

I so look forward to sharing these amazing tools in my work and to put on a first fire walk!
